Hi Guys,
Welcome to summer pennants 2008/09 for another season. We have a number of new members which is fantastic and I hope you are being made welcome by our existing young members.
This season we have 9 teams in the Junior competition, 2 Junior State League teams and 2, 23 & under teams who play on a Sunday afternoon.
Thank you captains and team managers for such a smooth start to the season I know it takes good organisation skills to accomplish this.
Good luck to our members doing TEE exams and a big thank you to those who played throughout these exams.
I have ordered new team shirts but there has been a delay with supply. I still have some from last season selling for $25.00 if you are looking for one.
I have been trying ’social play’ on a Friday afternoon from 4.00 – 6.00 with Mr. McKay doing a fantastic job on the BBQ but unfortunately the numbers have not been great. I am going away on Nov 19th and will not be back in Perth until Dec 12th and have decided to give all this another try in February when we resume pennants. So…..more on this at a later date.
While I am away Mr Graeme Rundle (Aden and Patrick’s Dad) is going to look after junior pennants. I do hope that you are all organised and everything will run smoothly but if you do need help his phone number is 9367 9042.
Our last game before Christmas is on Dec 14th and I will be back for that.
