Opening the Summer Season

A very successful opening day was held on 8th October. We were privileged to have in attendance at various times in the afternoon, The Mayor of South Perth, Greg Milner, our local MLA, Geoff Baker and the Federal Member for Swan, Zaneta Mascarenhas. The Mayor declared the club open at afternoon tea and we announced our Club Member of the Year as Arnold Jones., Johnny Miller Foundation Award to Cameron Burton, Most Improved Junior Girl to Karin Hiramatsu and Most Improved Junior Boy to Toma Terasawa. After tennis completed, Rhys Chester from Ian Hutchison Real Estate presented shields to our winning winter pennant teams.
